My name is Guy Payne, I am a counsellor and psychotherapist, welcome to my web site.
I started life in Lagos, Nigeria in 1965 and I first came to live in the UK in 1972 at the age of seven. I still remember adjusting to my new life Dorset and the sun and the sea remain important parts of my life today.
I started my professional life in 1989 as a teacher of English, however, I have always had a passion for helping people of all ages to feel heard and understood and in 2001, I qualified as a therapist and counsellor.
Since then I have gained extensive experience and training and I still wake up each day feeling excited by my profession.
My goal is simple, to provide you, or someone you love, with counselling that quickly and comfortably enables you to authentically interpret your feelings and to help you find compassionate and useful ways to stay emotionally happy and healthy.
